JogShuttle in Kdenlive

Since Version 0.5 i've tried kdenlive from time to time, and at the moment, i like it realy. :o)
Well, sometimes it's crashing often, but i hope, thats will be better in future. :o)

In the last few days i'v get running my JogShuttle (Contour Design ShuttlePro) fine without root. Now i want to use it in kdenlive.
Are you planned to built in more options to use ist in next time?

And, i thing there is a bug?
There is no diffference, to choice "cut" or "play" (i use it on german, so i think that's the correct translation?), every time, whatever button i click on the Shuttle, there is the same effect: It plays. No cut!
The Jog ist functioning fine.

Sorry for my bad english, i'm not in training for long time. ;o)

I am realy the only one, who wants to use a JogShuttle in kdenlive?

An answer to the question about more options tu use für JogShuttle very recommend :o)
Maybe a function to use the shortcuts to use with it?

Hope the right name is shortcuts for that, i'm using the german language, there the name is "Kurzbefehle".

Do you mean that the "PLay" and "Pause" button doesn't work in the clip monitor ?

(You can change the language temporarily to english in the "help" -> "switch application language" menu if you need the correct english words. I'm sorry my german isn't that good... ;)

you talk about the possible bug. What i meant is, in the settings for the JogShuttle there are two aviable options: play/pause and cut.
i put play/pause to one button, and cut to another. But both buttons do the same: play/pause, no cut.
Not the buttons in the clip-monitor, the buttons on the JogShuttle (a real hardware JogShuttle, no soft. ;o)).

And the second question was: more options to use with JogShuttle is planing for next time, oder does it take long time? Don't know about the work for that.

And at last: Shortcuts is the right name that i'm looking for. :o)

Oh right, I actually didn't know Kdenlive had specific JogShuttle settings ;)

Could you report the bug on the bug tracker with as much detail as possible ? http://www.kdenlive.org/mantis/view_all_bug_page.php -> "Report Issue"

The problem is, i'n not a native english speaker... and with much as possible details in english i've got my problems. *g*

Well... will try in next days....
Maybe here is a german an english spaeking user that cam help me...?

If you have problems writing some parts of your explanation in English maybe just write them in German.
There are a few German-speaking people here who might want to assist translating.
