If a save a project (*.kdenlive) can i use this in further kdenlive versions?
I have now a HD camcorder but i don't have yet a bluray player.
so now i make my movies still in dvd versions.
let's say in 2 years from here i want to export my files to m2t
should that be possible or is it better to make
two versions of my projects (1 dvd & 1 m2t)?

The .kdenlive file format should remain pretty much the same, or at least if changes are made the older .kdenlive files would probably still be importable (it's a fairly simple xml format file).
And if somehow importing old .kdenlive files fails in future versions, you could still simply use an older version of Kdenlive.
