|Summary||0001141: FR: Change default name of captured files|
it would be nice to change the default prefix of captured files ("capture") to somewhat related to the actual project.
So, if my project is about summer vacation in 2009 I would like to change it to "summer09" e.g.
Maybe this could be integrated directly into the record monitor?
This would also be helpful to identify/recognise/organise the files in a file manager...

implemented in svn rev. 3933
thanks, but all control buttons, except the connect button, turn into grey (non functional) once I've changed the base name. The only solution I've found so far is to disconnect and then reconnect again.
Right, the changes in capture settings cannot be applied while connected to the camcorder. I now added a message box to inform the user he needs to disconnect / reconnect to apply the changes, and the buttons are not greyed out anymore.
Why don't you just always perform an automatic reconnect after the name was changed?
