Summary0001348: File loading: Long video file gives problems
DescriptionI have a large OVR file (3.2 GB) with which I experience problems.

1) Length is not displayed correctly (9 min 37 sec instead of over 3 hours)

2) While putting clips from the file on timeline I find that in/out zones in clip monitor and the resulting clips in the timeline don't match. The further in the clip the worse results I get.

3) Every time I reopen the project the clips on the timeline have changed to another 'zone' of the original clip. Tried multiple times with different results for the same project file/clips.
Steps To ReproduceOnly with this one VRO file, taken from a (much too proprietary/closed) Samsung DVD harddisk-recorder.

Provided is a testsample, made with './ffmpeg -i ~/Templates/America/VR_MOVIE.VRO -vcodec copy -acodec copy -t 0:0:05 test.mpg'. You can find it at http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1885749/test.mpg [^]

It has about the same ffmpeg output as the large file so may be of use, but is too small to reproduce the timing error.
Additional InformationI guess it has something to do with ffmpeg, see output below. VLC/Totem/MPlayer all display the videolength as 9.37 as does ffmpeg. I can file a bug there if necessary.

Yes, you will have to upload sample to ffmpeg.org and file bug in their roundup.
