|Summary||0001726: count up timer|
|Description||It would be nice to have a timer that counts up (ex: a box in the corner that times events in the video). There should be a configurable delay before starting, a duration to count up, and a delay to remain visible after counting.|
I made a workaround using ImageMagick to manually generate PNG files with a rectangle and time code overlayed on a transparent image, then used the slideshow feature, but this is a bit of a pain.

|Build/Install Method||Manual build from SVN|
|Oops, I forgot to select feature and left it at minor. Sorry.|
I think we need more generators and more options in our existing ones in general.
However as another workaround have a look at the file created by the generator Countdown with a text editor. Should be fairly easy to modify it or to write a script for generating "count ups" using this file format.
