Summary0002155: New feature to add multiple clips to the timeline from the Project Tree
DescriptionI frequently have dozens, or even hundreds, of clips in the project tree that I would like to add to the timeline. Currently, I have the option of either dragging them 1 by 1 onto a track or creating a Slideshow Clip. What would be very useful is a tool that is similar to the Slideshow Clip tool with 2 major differences:

1) It uses selected clips from the project tree as its input list instead of a directory in the filesystem
2) The resulting output is not a single item placed on a track, but rather all of the individual clips with transitions/effects between them just as if I had done them all by hand.

Upon selecting the clips and choosing a new menu option "Add to Timeline", a dialog would appear allowing the user to specify:
* which tracks to place the clips onto,
* the length of each frame
* Dissolve/Wipe/Animation like the dialog when adding a slideshow clip

Also, the Wipe listbox should have a "Random" list item so that different wipes would be applied
Additional InformationI actually have a couple of shell scripts that are derived from one that I found on the internet that generate a Kdenlive project from a directory and place all of the clips onto Video 2 & Video 3 tracks with transition and effects. But, I'm a programmer. I don't think most people want to mess with CLI tools.
