|Summary||0002370: 35min long HDV video clip won't seek / preview correctly with proxy enabled.|
|Description||I have 100+ HDV 25P clips from same camera / same shoot. Many clips are a few minutes long. One clip is 'excessive' length of 35 minutes. All clips have had proxies built using same command:|
-f avi -acodec copy -vcodec mjpeg -s 720x540 -b 9000k
All other clips play fine with proxy enabled. But the 35min clip won't seek properly neither in the clip or project window.
Clicking far along the clip on the time line advances only a few frames.
Disabling proxy for the clip allows it to play full length.
Playing the proxy in xine shows the proxy is the full 35mins and same as original clip in it's entirety.
Also with the clip on the time line and the proxy disabled, then clicking into the project window to play the file, the project clip stays stationary, but clip monitor plays the file instead by jumping to the corresponding frame on the time line and plays the video clip in the clip monitor, when it should play the project monitor window, that window still shows incorrect frame.
Clicking anywhere on the time line makes the clip monitor window jump to corresponding frame and not the project window.
|Steps To Reproduce||Add a long clip, generate a proxy and try playing it.|
|Additional Information||I'm not sure if this is a problem with the HDV format I'm using, as a rule I only take short clips rather than long ones so I don't have any other long alternative codec clips to test with.|
