I recompiled from SVN ... Bug still here.
Please find enclosed a screengrab in HD720p 15fps, which cannot be exported to PAL.

Very strange, tagging this bug for 0.7.0 as it is quite important.
On the converse, I tagged transitions sound to 0.7.1

Ok, I understand the problem. Currently, Kdenlive checks the profile description. If the word "PAL" or if the number "25" or "50" is found in the profile's description, it is considered as a PAL profile and only PAL export options will be found.

If those keywords are not found, it is assumed that the profile is NTSC, and only NTSC exports are shown...

This works fine with MLT's build in profiles, but not necessarily with custom profiles where users can put anything in the description.

As an easy workaround, you can rename your profile and put "PAL" in its description...

We should probably implement a new field when creating custom profile to decide if it is a PAL or NTSC profile... but I suggest to postpone it to 0.7.1

There should bot be any check for PAL or NTSC ...
My first camcorder was an NTSC camcorder.

Still, I am very interested in exporting to PAL for obvious reasons.
The advantage of MLT is to be able to interpolate and export into any format.

No problem to postpone this bug to 0.7.1

Just remove any check of any kind.

Fixed in 2625 by adding a sort of filter function in a drop down box to the render dialog.
