Summary0000987: Allow to mute sound during a transition
DescriptionIf possible, it would be very nice to be able to mute or lower sound of involved tracks during a transition. It is useful when adding sounds in transitions, such as: http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=60009 [^]

Alternatively, it would be a solution to add a new effect to a sound that mutes all tracks EXCEPT the selected track. i.e. I would only need to drag a sound on the timeline and add an effect on it which mutes all other tracks.

Hi,
I think that what you are asking is possible if you use the volume effect and you apply it on the source. As this effect if keyframable, you can let the sound volume effect to 100% and then, when the transition occurs, you can go to 0%. Alternatively, there is the fade out effect that could be used. So I think that your request does not require new developments... do you agree ?
