First thing you can do is check the Kdenlive help, which is available on KDE's Userbase wiki. You can also help us by editing and improving this documentation. This online documentation is slowly being integrated into Kdenlive's help that is distributed with the binary packages.
You can also search and ask your questions in our Forums and Video tutorials. You can also connect with other Kdenlive users and developers on freenode's #kdenlive irc channel or through our dedicated page.
