when I render the film it is NOT DOING the composite. it shows the image as a still.

I did exactly what was explained in the tutorial and it looks alright in the red preview, where I added just to keyframes. but even playing the image with the composite effect in kdenlive is not showing any effect of moving or whatsoever.
is there something to enable before that works?

These are great tutorials, and big thanks for doing them. It's also awesome that you're providing download, because this site is banned in China, accessed by TOR and cannot support streaming videos. I just have two complaints: 1) the download file is huge 2) the format is FLV, which cannot be parsed. Sometimes I'd like to go back and hear something again, but I have to replay the entire video. Cheers!
