The recommended version of Slackware is 13.0
-current support has been dropped
-There are now 64-bit packages as well as 32-bit; choose your preference
Update: New packages available as per 12-10-2009: Kdenlive 0.7.6 and MLT 0.4.6
Recommended versions:
- MLT 0.4.6
- Kdenlive 0.7.6
- Optionally: frei0r 1.1
To install:
- download the packages from here: http://www.mlange.dds.nl/ New location due to provider switch!
Follow the instructions I put on the download location and you should be fine
You should now be able to run kdenlive, if you encounter problems: try to install Alien Bob's packages for faad2, faac, ffmpeg and yasm.
