Fixing the last bugs in 0.7

We are getting close to the Kdenlive 0.7 release. Many issues were recently fixed in Kdenlive and some others in MLT. We still have some pending bugs to fix for the 0.7 release, but hope to be able to release in something like ten days.

You can follow the progress on our roadmap page. Some of the minor bugs will probably be postponed to Kdenlive 0.7.1 so that we can do the release in the first week of November.

you did a great work. kdenlive is for me the best video capturing and cutting software for linux and i tried a lot of products.

Mandriva 2009

hello,
last night i've upgrade Linux 2008.1 powerpack to 2009.
I was having troubles saving videos with kdenlive in 2008 spring mandriva version. After upgrade Kdenlive could't start with KDE. I've fix this problem first running kdenlive from console and then I make a shortcut in KDE desktop to
/usr/bin/kdenlive
and it works well!
Now I can work with kdenlive without problems I have before

video effects and transitions documentation

is there a documentation for the video effects transitions ?
i am translating them and trying to figure them out
so i need to know what they suppose to do.
(most, are self explained but not all, to me, anyways ;-)

From Kdenlive, you can also click on the small (info) button in effects list, it will show a short description of the selected effect.
